For Rev. Sereta, journaling has always been a spiritual discipline; it is also a way to hear God. Writing has the power to help you see the beauty of God at work in your life experiences. When you express your thoughts and feelings in a journal, you'll be surprised by how much you discover about God in the process – and God will use your journal as a tool to transform you.
Sereta Collington is a gifted and accomplished woman of God. She is a pastor in Baltimore District AME churches. She is a wife, mother, and the author of Scripture Memorization Journal, Becoming One with Christ, the Through Journal and Greater is in You. Her life calling is to teach the Word of God, and help others to develop an intimate relationship with God, a task she incorporates with her passion for spiritual journaling. As an acclaimed journaling workshop presenter, she has a Master of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary; two Bachelor's degrees: A Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and a Master of Education degree.
Rev. Collington believes journaling is an assertive spiritual discipline; her favorite quote are that journaling is a way to hear God. Reading our Bible is listening to God; journaling is writing what we hear as God speaks to our heart."
Rev. Sereta wants to help everyone dig deeper into the Scriptures to find the spiritual strength to live an active, confident life and impact the world. As the Pastor, she fully committed herself to inspire others through the Word of God. Through her books, she shared what she learned through her spiritual journey, reflecting her passion for applying God's Word to real-life and individual growth.
